Easter Bonnets and Easter Egg Competitions
On Friday 7th April we will be having our annual Easter competitions. Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2 can enter a decorated Easter bonnet, and KS2 in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 can decorate an Easter ‘egg’.
There will be one first prize and one runner up prize for each year group.
On the morning of the competition there will be tables in the hall for each year group to place their entry to be judged later that morning. Please remember to name the entry with the year group discretely marked on it.
The PTA will be raffling an Easter hamper at the beginning and end of each school day until Friday when the winner will be announced. Tickets are on sale at £1 and money collected contributes to PTA funds. Thank you to the PTA for organising the Easter prizes for the Easter competitions.
Easter is such a special celebration in the Church’s calendar. On Sunday 9th April at 9:20 there will be the Palm Sunday procession from the school gate to All Saints Church. On Good Friday, 14th April at 10:00 there will be activities and worship for children and young people(parents welcome).
On Easter day at 6:00 am there will be a Service of Light with the lighting of the Easter fire, followed by bacon butties. At 11:00 there will be a Holy Communion Service.
Rev. Alison extends a very warm welcome to you all.
Please note after Easter there will be no further hard copies of school correspondence. Please use ParentPay to access all mail, thank you.
School closes for Easter this Friday, 7th April at 2:30pm. (After School Club will be open as usual.) School re-opens Tuesday 25th April at 8:40 am ready for learning to start at 8:45am.
